PureConvert Pro

PureConvert Pro (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a fully offline, local audio transcoding and processing tool. Reading, editing, tag parsing, transcoding, loudness analysis, denoising, silence trimming and Headless CLI runs all happen on your machine. We take your privacy seriously and guarantee the App never transmits or collects your source media files, your processing parameters or your usage history.

Effective Date: April 11, 2026

1. Scope and relationship to PureConvert Batcher

  • PureConvert Pro is the processing tier above the free PureConvert Batcher. It adds denoise, loudness normalization, silence trimming, fades, padding, channel conversion and gain to the same batch transcoding core.
  • Each product has its own policy page. This page covers the extra processing stages and the command line that exist only in Pro.

2. What stays on your device

  • Audio data: decoding, transcoding, tag and artwork copying, loudness analysis (LUFS, true peak, loudness range), denoising, silence detection and fades all run in local processes on your CPU/GPU.
  • Processing parameters: presets, target loudness, trim thresholds and concurrency settings are stored in the app's local preferences and are never uploaded.
  • Command line: the CLI is a local binary. Arguments such as --source, --target and --loudnorm-preset are read from your shell and are not reported anywhere.

3. What we never collect

  • No account, registration or login is required. We do not collect your name, email address or any other identifying information.
  • No analytics, crash telemetry or usage statistics are sent from the App. There is no background upload of processed files or of processing logs.
  • The App only accesses folders you explicitly select. It does not index or scan unrelated locations.

4. Network access and licensing

  • The network is used only for purchases and for restoring purchases through the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store. Those transactions are handled by the store, and we do not receive your payment details.
  • The free quota, lifetime license and subscription are verified locally against the store receipt. Verification does not send your media files or parameters to us.

5. System permissions

  • File access: used to read the source folders you choose and to write finished files to the target folder you choose. Subfolders are processed with the same scope.
  • Full Disk Access (macOS): may be required when you process external drives or protected directories. The App asks for it explicitly and only for that purpose.
